This ranking identifies as exhaustively as possible the Italian wines that the critics have praised the most*.<\/p><!--more-->\r\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/www.castellare.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/I-Sodi-di-S-Niccolo.png\" width=\"139\" \/>\r\nIn a further enrichment of this already far-reaching selection, a special additional ranking was introduced some time ago which also incorporates the feedback of the three most influential critical voices on the international wine-making scene &#8211; Robert Parker, Wine Spectator and James Suckling &#8211; collating their ratings with those of the Italian critics.<br><br>\r\nIn both of these rankings, I SODI DI SAN NICCOL&Ograve; 2012 &#8211; the emblematic wine of Castellare di Castellina obtained from Sangioveto (85%) and Malvasia Nera (15%) &#8211; came fifth overall, thanks to a series of high ratings from both the Italian and international critics (exemplified by 96 points given by Daniele Cernilli and 95 by Robert Parker).<br><br>\r\n* The guides taken into account by Gentleman are: Gambero Rosso, Cernilli, Veronelli, Maroni, Bibenda e Vitae.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Every year, Gentleman magazine collates the ratings of the most authoritative Italian wine guides to draw up what is now known as La Guida delle Guide (&#8220;guide of guides&#8221;).
