vintages of Castellare&#8217;s top wines obtain excellent scores and ratings by <strong>James Suckling<\/strong>, Wine Spectator former senior editor who, according to Forbes is considered today Niccol\u00f2 2016<\/strong>, the flagship wine of Castellare di Castellina based on Sangioveto and Malvasia Nera rewarded with <strong>95 points<\/strong>. James Suckling defined the 2016 vintage <em>\u201crich and juicy. Very tight style with depth and polish at the end\u201d<\/em>.<br><br>\r\n\r\nAlso excellent was the rating for <strong>Coniale 2016<\/strong>, the Cabernet Sauvignon in purity by Castellare which scores <strong>93 points<\/strong>, described by Suckling <em>\u201caromatic and juicy with ripe tannins and a delicious finish. Really succulent\u201d<\/em>.<br><br>\r\n\r\nSame score for <strong>Poggio ai Merli 2018<\/strong> which according to the critic is \u201ca pure Merlot with excellent potential\u201d, as well as for Il Poggiale Chianti Classico Riserva 2017 defined with two simple words: <em>\u201cSo delicious\u201d<\/em>.<br><br>\r\n\r\nFinally, Castellare <strong>Chianti Classico 2018<\/strong> gets <strong>91 points<\/strong>. For James Suckling, the new vintage of the most typical Tuscan wine <em>\u201cIt\u2019s medium-to full-bodied with round tannins and a fruity finish. Nicely done.
